Primary Filing Season begins Saturday

Saturday, November 11, 2017 is the beginning of the 2018 Primary Filing Season across the State of Texas including in Maverick County.

The Texas Amendments Election is being held Tuesday November, 7 , 2017 and voters are encouraged to go out and vote.
During the early voting process of the election, voter apathy prevailed with only 60 votes cast in a 10 day span from October 23 to November 3, 2017.

Polls open for EPISD TRE this Saturday

Polls will be open for the EPISD Tax Rate Election on Saturday, May 20.

 

From 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Multipurpose Center, community members will be able to cast their vote to determine whether or not the proposed tax rate will pass.
