Army band at Fort Sam Houston to be deactivated in 2018
SAN ANTONIO (AP) — A historic Texas military band is preparing to play its final note. The 323rd Army Band at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio is one of four bands nationwide being deactivated next year.

Union Pacific tears down historic train depot

The historic train depot that had withstood the test of time, existing for over 148 years, was brought down by its owners, Union Pacific Railroad on Monday, March 13, 2017 .
Located right in the middle of downtown Eagle Pass, the train depot was established in 1871, and played a vital role in establishing the community.
