Nearly a year after FBI raid, Texas Sen. Carlos Uresti heads to trial to face 11 felony charges

SAN ANTONIO — After hundreds of legal filings and three separate trial delays, Democratic state Sen. Carlos Uresti will finally get his day in court next week to face felony charges of fraud and money laundering.

Federal judge sentences Hondo, Tx, man to more than 15 years imprisonment for distribution of child porn
In Del Rio this week, 46–year-old Bryan DeWain Splawn was sentenced to 188 months in federal prison for distributing child pornography announced United States Attorney Richard L. Durbin, Jr., and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Special Agent in Charge Shane Folden.
