NEW YORK (AP) — For some Walmart employees, the day brought news of a pay raise. Others learned they were out of a job.
Walmart said Thursday that it is boosting its starting salary for U.S. workers and handing out bonuses.

Walmart, it is about to increase its starting wage from $ 9 to $ 11 per hour and also provide employees bonuses at all of its stores across the United States including in Eagle Pass.

THORNTON, Colo. (AP) — A man suspected of walking into a suburban Denver Walmart and immediately opening fire with a handgun, killing two men and a woman, was arrested Thursday, about 14 hours after fleeing the store.

Walmart donates $1,600 to Kids Are First

The LBJ Head Start center received a $1600 donation from Walmart to help with costs for the non-profit agency, Kids Are First, which runs the Head Start program.
