Laredo, TX -- Uber, a smartphone app that connects riders and drivers at the touch of a button, has officially launched in Eagle Pass. Beginning at 1pm today, users can begin requesting rides.

Uber and Lyft will relaunch services in Austin on Monday, now that Texas lawmakers have passed a bill overriding local regulations on ride-hailing companies.
