City of Eagle Pass severe thunderstorms alert

The City of Eagle Pass has received notice from the National Weather Service of Severe Thunderstorms POSSIBLE for our region Friday night and Saturday. 

Severe Thunderstorms with a POSSIBILITY of:

 

- Hail: Large Hail Possible (Over 1+" in diameter)

-Winds: Damaging Thunderstorm Winds over 60+ mph

- Tornadoes: Isolated

- Rainfall: Generally, between 0.5" and 1 inch. With isolated totals up to 2 inches.

 

Persons who live in lowlying areas and those who live in weak structures should take all necessary precautions to safeguard from this severe weather.
