that 1,800 to 2,000 people arrive this afternoon. The municipal president ordered that the city utilize some wineries that were being used as warehouses of the same municipality, and that the men were divided into a section, women and children in another and people who come ill in another. We asked Mr. Lechle who pays all these expenses and he responded that for the time being the municipality will be responsible for the expenses, that they will be given two meals per day and that they expect them to be between 3 and 4 months in that place. He also mentioned that the first people who arrived were inspected, with one of them carrying marijuana cigars on his person, most are men and those we could interview said they were of Honduras. Mr. Lechle also said that their goal is to get to the United States at any cost.
