The book is a collection of essays and reflections on life in Eagle Pass during the mid 20th century written by Jesus “Corky” Rubio. Rubio’s book has sold more than 1,000 copies and has quickly become a must have time capsule to childhood memories of growing up on the Texas- Mexico border.
