The Eagle Pass Student Activities Complex hosted the 6th District 29-5A Boys Baseball game of the Season when Eagle Pass High School Eagles clashed against the CC Winn High School Mavericks on Thursday March 3rd, 2014.
The game turned out to be one of the greatest high school baseball games in Eagle Pass history and may go down as the best game in the history of the series between the two schools as Chris Perez and Rica Gonzalez were entrenched in a pitcher’s duel for the ages.

The Eagle Pass High School Girls Softball Team won their 10th district game of the District 29-5A season on Friday April 4th, 2014 against the Laredo United Longhorns. The Eagles, now undefeated in district play, beat the Longhorns 6-3 in a tense battle that lasted 7 innings.
When Mexico and the United States scheduled an April friendly, it's unlikely that Jurgen Klinsmann and Miguel Herrera were expecting to see cohesive-looking sides, ready for World Cup play. Instead, they played experimental teams with fringe players, and they got plenty of information from it. The fans got a nice show, too, with the game ending in a 2-2 draw.
