Some very familiar faces, both players and coaches were at Winn high Senior Night this past Thursday when The Silver & Black took on Southside.
Coach Carper’s Crews were on hand and had a significant amount of photo opportunities.
This league, The EPYFA, has produced the best players on both teams and we appreciate the effort these coaches put forth to give our kids a head start.

In The Eagles district battle in Laredo, five turnovers were the difference in the game as The Dragons capitalized on all of them.
A pass to Orona San Miguel king pass to the Eagle 30 with 10:09 left in the first. Another pass complete to San Miguel, first down, to the EP fifteen. Jesse Garcia Perez catches the ball just beyond the goal line, a fifteen yard pass. PAT is good.

The CC Winn Mavericks are definitely showing improvement as a unit this season and this past week, they not only kept up with the perennial leader of the league, The Southwest Dragons, they were leading at half time.
The Dragons scored first on a plunge by Ryan Garay. The PAT was no good.
