The tree-pronged attack not including their quarterback ran roughshod over the Eagle defense and despite the excellent play of Ep signal caller Xavier Barrera, Sebas Velasquez, Luis Flores, Jesus Barba and Jeremiah Silva, the Purple and Silver were a little more than our D could handle as The San Marcos Rattlers defeated our boys 42-10, thus moving on after this, the Bi-District round of the Texas State Football Playoffs.
The past Saturday, November 15th Diego "Tin Tan " Saldivar puts another victory for his amateur boxing. This time was in San Antonio, Tx defeating Raul Perez out of San Antonio in the 115 pound division. The Eagle Pass Youth Sports Center Team Members and Coach Alfonso Mallen congratulates him for his victory.

It’s amazing how the seasons come and go…
First it’s two a days in the hot summer. Then the kids start falling into place in what will be their positions for the rest of the season, and if Jay Jacquez is chomping at the bit ready to play at his young age after being inspired by these outgoing cats like my boys Luis Flores, the man with the proverbial plan Big Sebas Velasquez, Jesus Montaño, Jaden Garcia, Eddie Lopez, Lazaro Castro, Ryan Rea, Anthony Paniagua, Ricardo Martínez, Emmanuel Fernandez, Jesús Barba and our boy Xavier Barrera, our leader on the field, off the field, in my eyes one of the best quarterbacks to ever suit up in the Burnt Orange and White.
