When it comes to sending off one of their own to something as big as The 2021 State Cross Country Meet in Round Rock this weekend, EPHS goes all out.

“The course looks good, I’ve run it before,” said State Qualifier OJ Ruiz, “It’s gonna be fast. I feel good, rested. (Texas A&M National Champion Oscar Ramirez) told me how to run the rest and be mentally prepared. He told me it was gonna run fast. Basically I’ve got nothing to lose, so I’m gonna leave it all on the course like there’s no tomorrow.”
