Taxable sales during the month of December in Eagle Pass surpassed last years monthly total by over $ 5,920,572 or a 17 % increase.

The Maverick County Junior Livestock Association has announced the date for the 2019 Jesus “Chuy” Sanche
z Memorial Community Cowboy Breakfast which is scheduled to be held on Tuesday January 22, 2019
from 7 am.. to 9 am. at the Zan Matthies Show Barn at the Maverick County Lake.
MVA on Bibb St. adds to holiday congestion
Friday, 28 December 2018 15:44 Published in December 2018The Eagle Pass Police and Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident between a Dodge Ram Pickup Truck and a late model Dodge Dart on Monday December, 24, resulting in one person being injured.
Law enforcement officials were summoned to an area along Bibb St. at around 11:00 am regarding a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers made contact with the drivers of the vehicles.
At that point fire department, EMT’s began to treat an individual for injuries from the accident.
The Eagle Pass Fire Department proceeded to transport the patient to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Centers Emergency Room for further treatment.
The accident is under investigation to determine the responsible party.
