The Maverick County Sheriff Department detained a female adult from Eagle Pass identified as 31 year-old Emily Garza on two different charges including DWI and possession of a narcotic. 

Sheriff Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident at around 2 am on Saturday April 21 in the area of South Veterans Boulevard.

The Maverick County Sheriff Department responded to an emergency call in Quemado, Texas on Saturday April 21 regarding an accident involving a two year-old minor child.

After a long and tedious process regarding accusations of misconduct and excessive force against longtime Eagle Pass Police Sergeant Raul Gonzalez, the issue has come to a close.  

This past week an arbitration decision was rendered in Gonzalez’ matter through the EPPD Civil Service Process.
