Eagle Pass Youth Center Boxer Mauricio Alvarado earns another victory after winning in Austin, Texas against Adrian Oviedo from Leija’s Boxing Gym in San Antonio, Texas.

It came down to the wire this year at the International Border Cup, the annual match play tournament which pits the best golfers from both sides of the border in a three day series of events. Mexico's contingent came away with a narrow 221/2 to 20 1/2 victory after Day 3 which was individual matches head-to-head between the remaining players on both teams.
