Claudia Rodriguez-Wright informed the News Gram of the fact that early registration began on March 24th and if you are a current SRSU/Rio Grande College student or if you have been out for less than a year, you can take advantage of the early registration by simply bringing your ID card and PIN #. If you do not have or remember your PIN #, you can call and contact the Office of Admissions to get it.

Action on a variety of personnel matters highlighted board action at the regular monthly meeting on Thursday, March 26, as the board renewed contracts for various vice presidents, deans and faculty members for the 2015 - 2016 school year.
Eagle Pass ISD’s four secondary schools will bring their actors together for one night to present their 2015 UIL One Act Play productions at the “4th Annual Night of One Act Plays,” which begins Thursday at 6 p.m. at the EPISD SAC’s Fine Arts Complex.
The night of one act plays will begin with the performance of Jerome McDonough’s “Asylum” by the young actors from Eagle Pass Jr. High. The play is directed by Myrna Almaguer.
Memorial Jr. High School will follow that performance with their presentation of the one act play “The Crane Wife.” MJH won second place at their one act play contest, as well as some acting awards. The play is directed by Gerardo “Jerry” Lopez and Adrian Ordaz.
District 29-5A’s alternate to bi-district winning play, “A Streetcar Named Desire,” will follow MJH with performances of award winners Junior Grecia De La Cerda and the district’s best actor Enrique “Kike” Garza. The performance features the final performances of seniors Karina “Kari” Esquivel, Isaias Galan and Natalie Acosta. The play is directed by Adolfo Flores Jr.
The Night of One Act Plays will conclude with the performance of “Asylum” by the actors of Eagle Pass High School. The play features the District 29-6A award winners Angle Mota and Moises Molina. The play is directed by Cynthia Sepulveda.
Tickets may be purchased at the door for $5.00 or from any actor in the play at the four schools.
