The squad sponsored by Luby's are your 2014 Senior Little League Champions in the EPYBSA and they did so by going undefeated behind the out- standing pitching of Connie Hernandez who went 8-0 this season.
"I'm very proud of my 11 girls," said Manager Willie Ruiz. The girls won the 14 and Under division of the league and now the focus is on the District 35 Championship which will be in Eagle Pass from July 9th through the 14th where teams from Del Rio, Crystal City, Carrizo Springs and Eagle Pass will vie for the right to represent District 35 in the State Tournament.
Congratulations to the girls, their coaches and most of all their parents on this accomplishment.

The Ray Darr Stars Dance Team traveled to South Padre Island over the weekend and came back with a first place finish at the Battle of the Beaches.
Sandra Luna ,Noemi Mata,Nayeli Baltazar, Nadaly Rodriguez, Alexa Diaz-Wever, Ana Chavez, Lourdes De Leon were the participants who rehearsed hard and performed better at the South Texas competition.
They represented Eagle Pass and Ray H. Darr Elementary exceptionally well.
"We are very proud of our girls, keep up the great work," said coach Assenet Luna, "We'd also like to thank our parents." The Stars are assisted by Yuri Rodriguez.

Former fireballing CC Winn right-hander Jose Rendon has been named to the National Junior College Athletic Association All-American Team.
Rendon, a sophomore on the Galveston College Whitecaps, amassed an incredible 11-1 record this season in the NJCAA Region XIV Conference South Zone and was also unanimously named All-Conference along with battery-mate, catcher Jose Garcia.
