The Eagle Pass Lady Eagles traveled to the Alamo City to participate in the prestigious Alamo Relays and came away with a hard-fought third place finish, but not before they exemplified the heart of a champion in several key events.

Spartan Fit Training Center has scheduled a series of Free Women's Self- defense Seminars to take place on Saturdays at least once every month. Van Guard Krav Maga Lead Instructor Joe Montes wants to empower women through knowledge and realistic defense techniques.  The seminars teach awareness, avoidance, and defense if needed in threatening scenarios.
Women find the practical nature of our self defense programs to be both inspiring and encouraging. Krav Maga, an Israeli-born system, was developed from inception for men AND women – big and tall, short and small. Based on instinctive reactions to danger and gross motor skills only – Krav Maga is elegantly simple and the most effective self defense system anywhere.
At Spartan Fit, success is measured by the number of people whose quality of lives is improved. So in addition to the empowerment of women, through education and training, the center also  spotlights and features one female entrepreneur at each of the free Women's Self-defense Seminars.
SFTC is looking to establish a positive environment that promotes success, and what better way than to support other women on the same mission.
The first company to be featured was Keep Collective by sisters Mishell Rodriguez and Lorena Cantu.  Other entrepreneurs teaming up with Spartan Fit include: Younique, Skinny Fiber, Herbal Life, etc . Come out and support all of the women who have decided to live life on their terms!  Strong heart, strong body, stronger mind.
The next Free Womens' Self-defense Seminar will be on April 11th @ 11:30am.  For more information, please visit www.spartanfittrainingcenter.com or the Spartan Fit Training Center Fb page.  The location is 1125 Del Rio Blvd, Eagle Pass, TX 830-513-1036
