McAllister park tournament champs the Eagle Pass Bombers: Ryan Rodriguez no.15 shortstop, Fabian Velasquez no. 27 first base, Omar Salazar no.16 infielder , Eddie Sepulveda no. 28 infielder, Juan jesus garza no. 7 catcher , Jimmy joe Lopez no. 11 infielder, Jared Romero no. 22 infield and outfield, Izek Garza no. 1 infield and outfield, Alex Martinez no. 8 outfielder, Manuel melchor no. 6 outfielder  Hitting display scoring 31 runs in Sundays road towards the championship. Beating San Antonio heat 13 to 0, then the top seeded team San Antonio renegades  13 to 7. Then beating the tough rival no 2 seed San Antonio line drive in tough nail biter 5 to 3 for the title.

-Eagle Pass Municipal Golf Course

    An invitational XC meet was held last weekend at the Eagle Pass Municipal Golf Course organized by CC Winn High School who will also be hosting the District 29-AAAAA Cross Country Meet on Thursday.  Medina Valley, Somerset, Uvalde, Southside, Cigarroa, Martin and Nixon will all be on hand to square off with AT Garza's Maverick XC squad to compete for the right to advance to the Region IV Meet.
    Eagle Pass High School will also be hosting the District 29-AAAAAA Cross Country Meet at this same venue on Saturday.  United, United South, Alexander, District XC powerhouse Del Rio and Lyndon B. Johnson High Schools will all be here to give our elite Eagle XC Team all they can handle for sure, but Coach Juan Gonzalez' charges will be ready.
    Lady Eagle superstar, the mighty Jezebelle Rodrguez placed third in the invitational with a 19:36.74 while teammate placed fifth behind three United South Monica Rodriguez, Ruby Briones placed sixth, Shanya Luna seventh and Suzette Salinas eighth. Joann Jimenez was the top finisher for the CC Winn Lady Mavericks ahead oh Julia Escalante and Carla Guillen.
    In the boys division United South absolutely dominated having seven runners in the top fifteen with Miguel Perez coming across first with a 16:13.18.
Nathan Kowalski came across first for Eagle Pass with a 16:48.75 followed by Miguel Huitron, Miguel Rendon of CC Winn, Yosio Limon also of the Mavericks came in just ahead of Gabriel Villaseñor and Ryan Rodriguez.
    In the junior high girls division, Memorial's Karina Rodriguez came in second behind Uvalde's Brisa Rodriguez with a 13:20.13 in the 3200 meter run.EPJ's Karla Aguilar placed seventh.  EPJ's Eileen Marines, Memorial's Angela Sanchez and Ruby Villarreal, EPJ's Maya Martinez, Alyssa Galvan and Bianca Vielma and Memorial's Desiree Vielma came in 10th thru 16th respectively.XC Meet Held Last Weekend; District Will be in EP
