Soto completed her feat at the EPISD Student Activity Center on a cold and windy Tuesday evening against an equally formidable Uvalde Lady Coyote squad.

Uvalde’s been tough for years. We haven’t been able to get over that hump with them,” said Coach JJ Iracheta, “It took her a while to get started, but once she found her rhythm, she became very accurate with hitting her spots. She never let them get any momentum
and our defense was making plays. That helped her out.”
Another note is that junior Aniza Salazar started the Lady Maverick rally with a two-run homer, the first of her career.
