Others have crossed the US Mexico Border and competed internationally for titles. The team has had a good year overall and are looking forward to an equally successful 2013. Team members are: David Perales, Jonathan Garza, Abel Flores, Ivon Gonzalez, Roger Garza, Ramon Lara, Rudy Herrera, Rodolfo Lara, Martin Lara, Luis Olvera, and Roberto Lara. Coach Lara and his team have been working arduously all year to prepare for these events and this is definitely seen in the success of the boxers who compete at the state, national and even world levels. Trainers are Roger garza and Martin Lara. Special thanks go out to Nick Carr for making each and every season possible.

The Loma Bonita Boxing Team has been working hard and producing favorable results for the athletes of Eagle Pass and Maverick County. They have been traveling across the state and have been taking the name of Eagle Pass Boxing to major events. Some of their fighters have even qualified and participated in the World Championships in Kansas City. Missouri.
