"They're a tough team and they've always played us tough," said Gonzalez who said their season has been going great, "It's exciting. We're in the playoffs and we're looking forward to playing a very good team in CC Winn."
The Coyotes defeated McCollum 28-16 in San Antonio last week where QB Domingo Davila connected with sophomore D'Andre Carroll on a 30 yard pass, ran another TD in himself and even intercepted a Cowboy pass to run it in from 34 yards out.
Davila was involved in every Uvalde score as he had another TD pass to sophomore WR Sotero Martinez for 24 yards.
"We run a two QB set with senior Michael Mata along with junior Wide Receiver Josh Sandoval," said Gonzalez.
He also mentioned junior 6' 0" 205 Lb. Tackle Eric De La Rosa and senior 6' 0" 200 Lb. Tackle Esteban Encina.
On defense, Coach Gonzalez said he had sophomore Nose Guard Magic De La Garza who at 5' 10" and 195 Lbs. is a big time run stopper. Some other key players he mentioned was senior Defensive Tackles Tito Ortiz and Elijah Flores.
"This game has turned into somewhat of a rivalry in terms of South Texas Football," closed the Uvalde coach, "Records are thrown out the window. The game will help both teams who are going to the playoffs. Coach Villaseñor has done a great job of building that program. I'm looking forward to playing them."
