C.C. Winn Maverick Coach Luis Sanchez and his daughter Zoe started a Thanksgiving tradition that is on its 4th year. They run the Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon/5K/Children's run in Atlanta, GA. Zoe has done two children's runs and last year decided to run the 5K instead of the kids run which as he informed The News Gram, he was not going to pass up the opportunity to run with her. "This is year was our second 5K together and I must say it has been a huge blessing to be able to run/race with my daughter!," mentioned the former EPHS standout, Zoe is 10 years old and placed 12th in the Girls 14 and under category with a time of 25:32. She had the same place last year as a 9 year old but about a minute slower.
