The Cerna Lady Stallions are the Queens of the Court in volleyball this year, this according to spokesmen for the Eagle Pass Parks and Recreation League.
What should be noted is that the Rosita Valley Roadrunners and lady Roadrunners Division III football and volleyball teams both made the championship games in their respective league, a very impressive feat indeed and Annette Lazarski and her staff are to be commended in achieving this in 2015.
The Lady Stallions outlasted the Lady Roadrunners in the championship as well as the Killing Tigers in their semi final match while the Lady 'Runners knocked off the Wild Bunch to advance to the big showdown in the championship.  The other two teams to make the playoffs were the Lady Eagles and Falcons Elite.
In Division II, it was Eagle Threat who took the top honors this season with a victory over the Stallionettes.  Eagle Threat arrived to the big dance after their win over Lady Spikers in the semis.  The Stallionettes defeated the Lady Roadrunners in their semi final match.
