The Mavs played an outstanding defensive game holding all-district running back Juan Cisneros to only one score in their 20-10 loss on Friday at 7:30. The new-look Eagle Pass Eagles traveled to San Antonio’s Judson Stadium to tangle with the Kileen Ellison Eagles in a higher scoring affair which ended in a 48-21 Ellison victory. The Mavericks host the Carrizo Springs Wildcats this Friday on Parent’s Night while the Eagles will take on the Laredo Nixon Mustangs at Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium on Thursday evening at 7:00.
