The Robert E. Lee Starlets Dance Team traveled to San Antonio, Texas to compete in the Midwest Cheer and Dance Championship held at Fiesta Texas on Sunday March 22, 2015.
The Starlets won first place in youth jazz and won a banner for best dance turns.
The Starlets also had solo performances by Mia Lopez who placed first in mini lyrical dance, Megan Rodriguez who placed second in youth jazz, Nora Martinez who placed fourth in hip-hop, Alyssa Rodriguez who placed third in youth lyrical and Romina Garcia who placed first in junior jazz.
The dance team is under the direction of Veronica Rodriguez and dance trainers Lluvia Gomez and Stephanie Clark.
