They will be traveling to vSan Antonio on Aug. 2nd to compete in the Back-to-School tournament where they are expecting to face even tougher competition, but they are excited and ready for the challenge.

Members of the team include:  Top: Marco Morales, Jose Zuniga, Guillermo Gaytan, Luis F. Rodriguez; Bottom: Jacob Salinas, Rene Vasquez, Allan Rodriguez, Matt De Alba and Coach Rodriguez; Not Shown: Jonathan Chavez, Jairo Maldonado.

There are a great number of traveling teams which are preparing boys for their respective high schools. Elite 8 who have been together since kindergarten (United), True Ballers (Nixon), Ballerz the number one team from Laredo (Martin), Huskies (LBJ), South (United South) and other teams like Del Rio's Prime Time who have been together for five years are all working programs for their future schools.

This is a trend we hope our kids in Eagle Pass can continue to follow for both our high school programs.

Beast Mode will be traveling to San Antonio on August 16th.
