The first inning started out slowly with no runs for either side. In the bottom of the 2nd the Eagles scored the first runs of the game with a great RBI triple by #11 Kevin Chisum who brought in three runs. The 3rd inning had 3 up and 3 down for the Rams followed up by a run for the Eagles despite a nice double play for the boys in blue. In the 4th inning the Rams caught a lucky break and scored their first run on an RBI single. They scored again in the top of the 5th but the Eagles returned it with two runs of their own.
