EPJ 2000 Tennis returns to its glory days

Coach Gaby Juarez and Principal Mario Escobar's EPJ 2000 Tennis Team participated in their last tournament for the Spring season on Saturday, April 12th in Del Rio. 

The Eaglets competed against Del Rio, Knippa, EP Memorial and Uvalde. Both 7th and 8th grade teams brought back 1st place overall team trophies.

The following players received individual medals for their own brackets:

8th grade boys singles: Angel Reyes 1st place consolation medal

8th grade girls singles: Paige Schomber 1st place medal

8th grade girls doubles: Marialicia Gonzalez and Paulina Gonzalez 1st place medals

8th grade boys doubles: Abel Martinez and Edwin Olvera 2nd place medals

Rafael Herrera and Jonas De los Santos 3rd place medals

7th grade girls singles: Rebecca Moran 3rd place medal

7th grade boys singles: Jacob Wright 2nd place medal

Bryan Torralba 3rd place medal

7th grade girls doubles: Paola Gutierrez and Adalina Hernandez 1st place consolation medals

7th grade boys doubles: Robert "RJ" Aguirre and Nathan Espinoza 1st place medals

Luis Fernandez and Miguel Angel Gutierrez 2nd place medals.
