For the Eagle Pass Eagles, Alberto Gomez, Ricardo De La Cabada, Abraham Diaz, Rodrigo De La Cabada and Juan  Banda will be competing for the district title.  

In the Girl's Division, Shiloh Morales, Andrea Martinez, Susana Zavala, Valeria Zavala, Aracely Cardenas will hit the course and Martha Rhodes, a medalist this year, will be competing as an individual and will have an equal opportunity to vie for the district championship and advance to regionals.

Coach Beto Hernandez gave us the names of his top five boys and girls who will also be competing tomorrow at Casablanca for the Mavs.

Adrian Alvarez, Juan Muñoz, Andres Echevarria, Daigo Matzuka and Noel Torres will compete for the boys and Gabriela Rangel, Paloma Garcia, Juliana Vasquez and Andrea De Alba will be hitting the links for Coach Pat Hernandez' Lady Mavs.

"The kids have been working hard all year and they're ready for this tournament," said Coach Beto Hernandez, who said that the team participated in seven two-day invitationals this season in preparation for this week's district championship.
