The Broncos also had a great tournament going undefeated in their first 3 games. In other divisions, 6U the San Antonio Swingmen took the Championship over the heavily armed batting attack of the Eagle Pass Rams which took the 2nd Place award. The 10u homerun Derby was a also a great success which took place during the tournament, with 25 contestants participating in the 3 round Homerun Competition. 1st place Homerun Champ was Roger Menchaca of the Eagle Pass Rangers, 2nd place was the 9u phenom Dante Leija of the E.P. Border Border Bandits. "Battle At The Diamond" Baseball Tournament this past weekend Sept. 27-29 was another success by Eagle Pass Tournaments and EPYBSA. The Eagle Pass Rangers 10U lead by head coach Alfred Rodriguez were crowned Champions Sunday night with wins against the Eagle Pass Yankees, Carrizo Springs Rampage, and the E.P. Broncos. 10U MVP was awarded to Jimmy Joe Lopez of E.P. Rangers for a dominating pitching performance all weekend long. 2nd place trophies and medals for 10u were awarded to the E.P. Broncos of Coach Julian Elizondo.
