The Eagle Pass Eagles kicked off their 2013 District 29-AAAAA schedule and had to do so in their road whites as they traveled to Laredo to face Brian Swain and the high-powered Alexander Bulldogs.

The highly experienced senior signal caller was firing on all cylinders as he proceeded to throw the ball effectively down the field to score their first of four aerial TD's on a Swain pass to another well-traveled wideout Marc Losoya on a 23 yard strike with a little over 9 minutes remaining in the first quarter.

The Swain-Losoya Connection hit pay dirt once again in the first on a forty yard pitch and catch for the Bulldogs to pull away 14-0 with three minutes to go in the first quarter of play.

Swain hit Travis Allen on a 20 yard pass play to pull away 20-0 after a botched PAT attempt then scat back Xavione Skaggs left his mark on the scoreboard with a fifteen yard run.  The two point attempt was good and the Bulldogs led 28-0 at the break.

Both Losoya and Skaggs would later score to pull away 42-0 before Ty Chisum managed to roll left and roll 59 yards all the way to the endzone for the initial Eagle score with 3:21 remaining in the game.  Jerry Gonzalez booted the PAT through to make it 42-7, then the Eagles managed to mount another scoring drive at the end of the game as Chisum ran in a one yard scramble with :15 seconds remaining to make the final score Alexander 42-Eagle Pass 14.
