EAGLE PASS – CC Winn High School is in full celebration mode this week as students, staff, and the community gear up for the annual homecoming festivities. Spirit week kicked off earlier this week, with students showing their school pride through themed dress days and friendly competition among clubs and organizations.
This year’s parade is set for Wednesday, October 15th, beginning at 6:30 p.m., winding through the streets of Eagle Pass and culminating with a lively pep rally at the San Juan Plaza. Each club and organization has embraced the spirit of the week by selecting video or arcade games as their parade themes, promising a colorful and playful display for attendees.
Homecoming week, a cherished tradition at CC Winn High School, brings the student body together in celebration of school pride and community engagement. “This week is more than just games and parades; it’s a time for students to showcase their creativity, teamwork, and dedication to our school,” said a school official.
The week of festivities will conclude on Friday with the highly anticipated homecoming football game. During halftime, the school will announce the selections for the homecoming royal court, a highlight that caps off the week-long celebration.
For decades, CC Winn’s homecoming week has stood as a hallmark of student life, embodying the energy, enthusiasm, and unity of the school community. Residents are encouraged to come out and join in the fun, cheering on the students as they celebrate tradition, spirit, and school pride.
