Coach Gus Gonzalez informed The News Gram about his team’s experience at the Laredo Invitational Softball Tournament the 8U girls from Eagle Pass,The Purple Pilots took the Championship trophy home as they went undefeated throughout the tournament.
In the 1st game they defeated Lady Marvels fm Laredo: 10-7 2nd game they defeated Batting Divas from Laredo 7-0 3rd game defeated again Batting Divas 10-5 Championship game they defeated Lady Cubs from the valley 13-7.
Outstanding players were: Idris Esquivel, Andrea Gonzalez, Zoe Williams, Naveah Gonzalez, Maya Garza, Liea Rodríguez and Dannika Garcia.
