Big man Chino Guerrero got the scoring going on a 30 yard run and Aranda added the extra point to put The Orange Crush up 7-0.
Then it was Jay Jacquez on a four yard TD blast and Guerrero tacked on the point after, 14-0 Broncs.
DJ struck again from 10 yards out and Chino added another point to put their team up 21-0, but, and this is a big BUT, the Panthers were here to play and here for a reason, and with their heart-stopping, last-second victory over the Cowboys the week prior, they proved why.
Jacob Dueñez took a Juan Peralez pass 30 yards for the first Panther score. Dante Huerta's extra point attempt was stopped and the score was 20-6.
Aranda scored again barely getting away from Huerta and the score was 27-6.
Then #9, Nathan Molina, did what he does by breaking off a 33 yard touchdown run to make it 27-12.
Guerrero intercepted a Peralez pass and took it to the hizzle for a pick-six and Aranda added the PAT to click Mario Salinas' (Formerly Ismael Ibarra's) scoreboard to 34-12.
But this would not be a fitting 12U championship without incredible plays and Nathan Molina would deliver in spades on the ensuing kickoff with an amazing 80 yard return for another Panther touchdown with only 1:35 remaining in the game!
The never-say-die Panthers with big Adrian Rodriguez present, front and center, standing next to this reporter, showed their resilience when Molina completed the hat-trick with another awesome 47 yard TD run on the final play of the game. Final score, Broncos 34, Panthers 24.
