Well The PSJA North Warriors had Ghidorah of their own in the running tandem of Jason Montez, Jack Lugo and Isaac Gonzalez.
The sheer size of the Warrior offensive line and the misdirection of the quarterback's handoffs were confusing enough, then the speed and power of these backs put PSJA North out 20-0 early, but the Eagles never backed down and quickly came back with scores by Isaac Stanwick and Dakota Kypuros made the score 20-14.
"We had 417 yards of total offense," said Offensive Coordinator Javier Cardenas, "Our kids played tough. Issac sprained an ankle early in the 1st quarter but the fearless warrior that he is, he stayed in game. We had to make adjustments as Issac was limited running the ball."
But Sir Isaac scored again in the second half after he connected with Sebastian Diaz on our first possession of the second half.
Even though we had trouble stopping this juggernaut who is scheduled to play Austin Westlake this weekend in The Alamodome, we have reason to look forward to next football season.
"The Future is bright we're returning 8 starters on offense!"
"Another fearless warrior is Dakota Kypuros. He returned to finish the game in the 4th quarter."
Final score, PSJA North 56, Eagle Pass 28.
