As a corner, these young men are asked to take care of the opposing team's best receivers. Our Player Profile subject almost had a couple of picks, and one play in particular could've been the pick-six variety.
This reporter is glad that he and our other Player Profile subject Arandu Pace are juniors, because they, along with Jeremiah Robinson, will be back to give teams h-e-double toothpicks next season, and our boy here today will be putting his five-tool skills to work for Coach Heriberto Roiz's Maverick Baseball squad come February.
I give you CC Winn Maverick Cornerback Alan Vielma.
First of all congratulations for being selected Player Of The Week by your Coach. What can you tell our readers about last week's game and your performance?
-It was a tough game we battled through injuries and the other team was just better that night one thing I will say is that we left it all out there for our fans that have been behind us through this whole season. I honestly thought I played well. I did everything I could to put our team in a good position to win and unfortunately we fell short.

-I play corner and receiver and my number is 6.
Who do you look up to? Who are your heroes?

Offense or defense, it's up to you, give me your favorite play the way it's called in the huddle.
-My favorite play would probably be Counter Screen Pass.
Why do you like this play, what do you do? What's your responsibility?
-This play is a play action all I do is take a step wait for the ball to get to me and that's where I get to make moves and make defenders miss some tackles.
What makes a good teammate?
-A good teammate is someone who isn't selfish and plays for his other teammates and not just for himself.
What's on your playlist?
