Coach Neto Reyes' Eagle Pass Eagles have hit the hardwoods already having traveled to Shaquille O'Neal's old stomping grounds last week to play Cole, O'Connor, and Boerne and now at old Eagle Pass High School to square off with a very talented and experienced Crystal City Javelinas squad that has all five returning starters knocking them off 62-50.
The Eagle Pass News Gram caught up with Coach Reyes who had the following to say, "Our defense was tough. We created turnovers and were able to capitalize on them. This is a great group to coach. These guys are always smiling and working together."
"Crystal City is legit. They have their whole team back and they made a deep run in the playoffs."
