First of all congratulations for being selected Player Of The Week by your Coach. What can you tell our readers about last week's game and your performance?
Last game we fell short against Del Rio and I scored 17 points. We were just lacking some team play, but we made up for it tonight with our win against Carrizo Springs 72-38.
What position do you play? What's your jersey number?
I play point guard and I wear #5.

Rene & Yolanda Rodriguez.
Who do you look up to? Who are your heroes?
My heroes are God and my parents.
What's your career highlight?
My career high 24 points against Hondo my sophomore year.

college team?
The Duke Blue Devils.

The San Antonio Spurs.
What are your first memories of playing
basketball?
My first memorys of playing basketball are practicing with my dad when I was 3 years old.
"Who's your favorite athlete and why?" The sport does not matter.
My favorite athlete is Jose Altuve of the Houston Astros. He's my favorite because although he lacks in height he has all the heart in the world to play the sport he loves.
Offense or defense, it's up to you, give me your favorite play during a game?
What is it called? My favorite play to call during a game is one we call Gino.
Why do you like this kind of play, what do you do? What's your responsibility?
We do this kind of play when the other team is running man defense. My responsibility is to set a screen on our shooter then come out and curl around a screen for a layup, pick and roll, or a kick out to the corner for a three.

Basketball and gaming.

Chinese food.
What makes a good teammate?
You have to be coachable, play your role, and put the team before you.

Our coach is very intrigued when it comes to us. He puts in hours of cutting down film, making practice plans, making sure everyone understands their role.
What's on your playlist?
Lil Uzi Vert is mostly on my playlist but I like to listen to a song called 20 Min. before games.
What advice would you give a kid playing basketball for the first time?
Basketball is a game of angles and fundamentals. Learn the fundamentals and everything else falls into place with effort and commitment
What do you think of when you hear our fight song?
Our fight song hypes me up when I hear it. It makes me feel as if im playing in front of the whole school.
