First of all congratulations for being selected Player Of The Week by your Coach. What can you tell our readers about last week's game and your performance? 

Last weeks game was a exciting game for us because it was our season opener but also because our team put up a great effort to get that win for our fans but also to represent our school. I would say my performance was decent. I put up about 20 points but also wanting to move the ball around so I can get my teammates involved and not be selfish.

What position do you play? What's your jersey number?

I play PF and I'm number 23. 

What are your parents names? Siblings?

My parents names are Rebeca Garza and Francisco Torres and my siblings are Ivonne Torres, Adriana Torres , Erika Tores. 

Who do you look up to? Who are your heroes?

My hero and Who I look up to is my mom and dad because they have done so much for me to be successful in everything I do in life also Michael Jordan is one of my other heroes because he never gave up on what he wanted but strived to get to where he wanted to be.  

What's your career highlight?

I would say my career highlight would be getting 40 points in a game but also shooting 4/4 from the three that game.  

Who's your favorite college team?

I would say my favorite college team would be Texas Tech because they always seem to go deep in March Madness which means they are a very successful team.  

Favorite NBA team?

I would say the Clippers because Kawhi Leonard plays there who is one of my favorite players  

What are your first memories of playing basketball?

My first memories of playing basketball was my first ever game in 8th grade which I put up 15 points with 10 rebounds and 3 blocks and I was so excited ‘cause we also won that game. 

Who's your favorite athlete and why? The sport does not matter. 

My favorite athlete is Micheal Jordan cause he is just a beast at everything he does. Not only with his company but also what he did on the basketball court just shows how great he is.  

Offense or defense, it's up to you, give me your favorite play during a game? What is it called?

I think offense because all our team can get hyped up from someone making a three or getting a And1 and my favorite play is called Blue because it gets everyone open and so this gets everyone involved.  

Why do you like this kind of play, what do you do? What's your responsibility?

I like this play because I get open a lot from the back door screen and so this gives us easy looks and points and all I do is use the back door screen to get open.  

Any hobbies?

My hobbies I don't really have any. All I do is practice basketball and do homework 

Favorite food?

I would say my favorite food is chicken alfredo because I love any type of pasta.  

What makes a good teammate?

I think what makes a good teammate is just being there for the team and supporting all of us as a whole.  Everyone should be supporting each other. I think that's what makes a good teammate  

Talk to me about your Coach.

I like my coach because he wants to win and all I want to do is win. That's why I work so hard and he does too but we both do it to get better and grow as a whole.  

What's on your playlist? 

On my playlist right now I have Drake, Future, Playboi Carti and Pi'erre Bourne 

What advice would you give a kid playing basketball for the first time?

Some advice I would tell a kid that's barley starting to play basketball is to not give up. Even if people say your bad or not good, all you do is ignore and show them that you are good. Also to practice because practice makes perfect.  

What do you think of when you hear our fight song?

What I think of our fight song is it just shows we like  to represent our school and show love towards our school.
