First of all congratulations for being selected Player Of The Week by your Coach. What can you tell our readers about last week's game and your performance?
I would say I was pretty nervous, which was a first since I rarely get nervous before a game. All I could think about was winning for my team in order to make playoffs.

I look up to my mom because she’s my hero. She’s always encouraged me to do my best and has always supported me.

Getting first team all district as a sophomore and making playoffs.

"Who's your favorite female athlete and why?"
Simon Biles is my favorite female athlete. In this years olympics she demonstrated leadership and selflessness because she decided to bow out of the competition due to a mental block. She works day in and day out always trying to better herself even though she’s a 6 time gold medalist.
Offense or defense, it's up to you, give me your favorite play during a match?
Offense, when instead of setting up my hitters I dump the ball over on two.
Why do you like this kind of play, what do you do?
I like this play because it catches the other team by surprise as well as my teammates.

I like to read, paint and lift weights.

What advice would you give a young lady playing volleyball for the first time?
I would say to always try to play to the best of your abilities wether it’s a practice or a game always go 100% and but most of all always remember to have fun.
What do you think of when you hear our fight song?
I think of our schools traditions and my peers.
