When the Eagle Pass Broncos take the field on Saturdays, with players like DJ Aranda, Jay Jacquez, Isaac Guerrero and Brandon Alvar, You have to know that the future of football for both our teams is so bright we gotta wear shades.
Then there's Nathan Molina of the Panthers, Ricardo Garcia of the Cowboys all in the elite 12-U division. Believe me, the Eagles and the Mavericks are getting some good kids as soon as next year.
Last Saturday, Aranda broke off a 78 yard touchdown run and Molina returned the favor with a 75 yard TD run of his own. Jacquez was catching passes, Alvar was throwing them and Chino Guerrero was blasting his way through the defense.
A sign of things to come? Only time will tell.
