Tom González' Eagle Pass Eagles had their toughest test in District play on Friday when they duked it out with the Alexander Bulldogs at The SAC in The Gateway City on Friday.

The elusive TJ Mares had to bust out his best moves to score twice from deep inside Bulldog territory to give the Burnt Orange and White a razor-sharp 14-10 lead at the half.

It was Dakota Kypuros who hit paydirt on a 31 yard TD pass from Sir Isaac Stanwick to put the Eagles on top for good after the Alan Losoya PAT. Losoya was three for three on the day.

Alexander scored on a 42 yard TD pass in the fourth, but it was a little too little and a little too late for the Dogs as the victory catapults our Eagles into the championship game next week versus The United South Panthers.

Wear your Burnt Orange and White proudly, be there, be early, but by all means... Be Loud! Let's cheer the Eagles on to a District Championship!.
