While the CC Winn Mavericks have had two men at the helm, both with great speed and leadership qualities, this week’s Player Profile subject was hurt earlier in the season and was under concussion protocol. Back now, he rushed for 200 yards and three scores in CC Winn’s victory over Laredo Martin.

First of all congratulations for being selected Player Of The Week by your Coach. What can you tell our readers about last week's game and your performance?
Well we went and scored on our first offensive drive to set the tone for the rest of the game then our defense went and got the three and out giving us good field position so the offense went back out there and scored. Then again our defense went out there and scored twice with a fumble recovery and a pic six.
What position do you play? What's your jersey number?
I am the quarterback and the jersey number I wear is #12.
Who do you look up to?
Who are your heroes?
I look up to my mother because no matter what she’s has going on or how busy she is she always finds a way to make time for her children and helps us out in any way she can.
What's your career highlight?
My 68 yard run against the Crystal City Javelinas.

NFL player?
The starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers and last year’s MVP Aaron Rodgers.

I like running this play because I get to run the ball giving me a chance to score for our team.
What makes a good teammate?
A good team mate is someone who puts the team’s achievements ahead of his own and prefers the team to succeed no matter what it takes.
What's on your playlist?
Old school rap mixed in with modern rap.
What do you think of when you hear our fight song?
When I head out fight song it reminds me of Friday night lights and all the fans there watching the football team play.
How does it feel to come
out of the tunnel?
The feeling of being down there on the field getting ready to come out of the tunnel is surreal. It makes you feel like a kid at Christmas ready to open their presents.
