During the first quarter the Mavericks put together a 14 play offensive drive that ended in the end zone on a run from Running Back Ethan Johnston. Quarterback Jose Padilla would line up his team and go for a two point conversion. Padilla would call his own number and score, making the game 8 to 0.

McColumm would answer back and drive the ball down the field to cut into the lead 8 to 7.

Both teams were able to keep each other from scoring on their next possessions. CC Winn would adjust in the 2nd quarter and marched down the field on a 48 yard touchdown run by Padilla. The PAT was good and CC Winn would go up by 15 to 7.

The score would remain the same going into the half.

During the second half of play CC Winn's Defense would shut out McColumm's offense, including two nail in the coffin interceptions.

During the third quarter an interception from CC Winn DB Eric Sanchez would set up Winn to add to their lead. Winn Fullback Carlos Soto would get the ball f r o m Hinjosa and plunge it into the end zone. Hinjosa would again call his number and convert a two point conversion making the score, CC Winn 23 McColumm 7.

During the 4th quarter WInn's defensive LB Alex Chris Garcia would snatch a pass from McColumm Cowboy's quarterback, ending their last hopes to score.

The final score would be Winn 23 McColumm 7.
