Teams representing Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras played to be named the 2019 International Border Cup Champions.
This is the third year the tournament is held and is sponsored by both the City of Eagle Pass, Piedras Negras, IBC Bank and the Eagle Pass Golf Association.
During the first day of tourney play public officials from both communities welcomed both teams and officially started tee off.
Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu congratulated all participants and organizations involved in the tournament.
The tournament culminated with the presentation of the Cup Tournament trophy to the Piedras Negras team.
The community-friendly tournament is held in an effort to bring awareness and raise funds for Cancer victims.
