Luis Flores and the Eagle Pass Panthers have shown a significant amount of improvement from one year to the next and the Silver and Black are showing it on the field with their third victory on a row, this time over Humberto Munoz and the Eagle Pass Cowboys.
Flores scored from 54 yards away with 1:46 left in the 3rd quarter, but Munoz answered right back with a touchdown of his own from 10 yards into The Red Zone and Xavier Barrera tacked on the extra point to tie the ballgame at 7 after Jarell Rodriguez extra point earlier in the game.
At the end of this contest, the difference-maker was Luis Flores again physically stripping the ball away from Munoz and hauling it into the end zone for the 65 yard touchdown.
The Panthers would go on to win 28-7.
