Panthers and Cowboys Come Down to the Wire 13-12

The matchup between the
8U Cowboys and the 8U
Panthers was absolutely
worth the price of admission
in the first game of the morning
on Saturday.
The headline last Sunday
was that Jacob Rivas and Jose
Rivera were then cogs that
make The Panthers go and it
was Rivas who struck first in
this game with the best TD of

The Eagle Pass Cowboys faced-off
with The Eagle Pass Panthers on
Saturday and The ’Boys came away with
a 20-0 win.
First, it was Javier Muñoz on a five
yard blast early in the game, but the extra
point was no good, 6-0 Cowboys.
Then, Saul Rivera of The Panthers
intercepts a pass with 3:07 left in the
half, but Diego Chacon would break off
a 40 yard run that would set up a one
yard TD by Muñoz again. The extra
point was good with Willie Lopez, then
The Ant-Man Noel Rodriguez capped off
the scoring on an incredible 26 yard run,
Muñoz added the extra point and that
was the scoring summary for this game.
The Cowboys took on The Eagle Pass
Broncos on Saturday, but results were
not available at press time
