The Eagle Pass City Council approved the final reading of an ordinance which would amend the existing City Code of Ordinances in relation to animals, animal protection, euthanization and other animal/pet related subjects during their meeting held on Thursday, July, 26.

Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber has reported that Sheriff Department detectives have managed to retrieve some of the computers and other electronic devices that were stolen on Saturday, July 21 from the offices of Precinct 2 Commissioner Rosy Cantu.
