Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu and members of the Economic Business Development Committee had a meeting with Paul Del Rincon, Director of International Port of Entries in Eagle Pass, Texas. 
The recent meeting is part of a continued dialogue to seek solutions to the long wait times at both ports and other issues that both agencies can work together in improving.

The Eagle Pass City Council approved the demolition of the Moncada Baseball Stadium stands and bleachers at their recent meeting. The City will begin to install the new seating and begin a remodeling of the area. The effort is in coordination with the City's Parks Master Plan and the up-coming Babe Ruth 14 U World Series which is scheduled for next August.

   Austin- A panel of three U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals judges ruled Tuesday that most of Senate Bill 4 (SB 4) can remain in effect. This allows for local law enforcement officers to question the immigration status of people they detain or arrest.
